I have to admit that it will be a bit of a disappointment if that’s really the case – what is a pirate game without pillaging, treasure hunting, and sword fights? The fact that they haven’t shown any gameplay during the Summer Game Fest raised a red flag to a lot of gamers. No land sword combat, just walking around getting quests and picking up lore. You could only get onto land in the shipyard to upgrade your ship and your crew. Gamers aren’t putting much faith in the game – earlier gameplay showed that it was only naval combat and there weren’t any quests on land.
